What does it take to make journalism accessible? We spoke to Chitranshu Tewari, director of product and revenue newslaundry, about how they made it possible for people with a range of disabilities to access their stories. inoldnews.com/accessible-new…

Late post but spoke with Manon Verchot about @Newslaundry's accessibility journey and news products for In Old News: inoldnews.com/accessible-new…

Happy to share that I've joined In Old News as Contributing Editor! So excited to work with Manon Verchot and Sanshey Biswas 😊

The hype around artificial intelligence (AI) for generating images & written content often overshadows the technology's incredible ability to reduce mundane tasks. Sanshey Biswas and I explore AI's applications in conservation in our latest documentary: youtu.be/PrRxAK2VGjg

It's no surprise that audiences primarily get their news on social platforms. But what I didn't know is that 77% of 'news influencers' in the US don't have a background in journalism. In our first newsletter of 2025, Shuchita Jha explores what the consequences of this could be.

EJCP at Newmark J+ gave me the confidence to chase new opportunities, helped Sanshey Biswas and I clarify our mission and develop our business model. And I got to make connections with a great cohort of other entrepreneurial journalists. I have such fond memories of our sessions.

Co-founders of ION SansheyBiswas and Manon Verchot wrapped a 3 day training on Ethical use of AI in Journalism in Noida, on March 9, 2025. Around 25 journalists tested out over 10 AI tools and had deep and insightful discussions. Thank you US Agency for Global Media and Voice of America for this.

Come say hi! Sanshey Biswas at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy. Excited to dig into charcuterie boards and deep journalism conversations! And share what we've been up to at In Old News #IJF25
