This week, we were excited to help celebrate the latest graduation of the Manchester Adult High School Program. On Tuesday, Ashley Tilley received her diploma in a special ceremony at City Hall. Congrats, Ashley: We're proud of you and thankful that you shared your story with us.

We've got some fresh artwork lining the walls of our district office stairwell. Our latest artists in residence come to us from Southside Middle School. Thank you to the students and art teacher Phuong Lai-Matzker for sharing your work.

On Friday, the Memorial High choir had the honor of performing during the Memorial Day ceremony at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. Thank you to the students who performed and the staff who supported them. We are grateful that our students had this opportunity.

On Monday, we were excited to help announce the return of the Manchester Music & Jazz Festival, coming to downtown on Aug 7-8. We're especially excited that students will have the opportunity to learn from and perform alongside professional musicians. Mark your calendars!

Hillside Middle School may have (OK, definitely) brought the largest group of students to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance for Monday night's Board of School Committee meeting. Thank you to the students and to Assistant Principal Adrian Newton for coordinating.
