We’ve campaigned for 3 yrs to return training/community & hold Seven Dials Playhouse to account. We’ve sent Charity Commission comprehensive information & it’s a relief that a statutory enquiry is finally underway.

This is welcome and overdue. A statutory inquiry into Seven Dials Playhouse will hopefully resolve the poor decisions and financial issues that the trustees and management have overseen.

We tried to collaborate with Seven Dials Playhouse for 3 yrs to return training & bring much needed money into the building. This would have provided vital provision for actors & help Tower st, bought by actors for actors, remain viable. The Charity Commission enquiry is very welcome

The takeover of #TheActorsCentre during Covid & removal of training/community has been a financial disaster & has denied actors/creatives access to vital provision. We move forward positively after the loss of our building, but the Charity Commission investigation is very welcome.

Today more than ever actors need affordable/accessible training, community/support. Seven Dials Playhouse decided that they knew better, failed to listen to actoratthecentre & 1000s actors/creatives. We move forward with renewed energy & hope. Actors deserve a home & we build again.
