Used R, the Strava API, and ChatGPT to make this visualization of my training block for the JC marathon. I hope to clean this code up and put it on my website at some point...

With Canada's 4/28 election approaching, we're excited to release the 2nd wave of an online panel survey. N=1,221; wave 2 was 3/31-4/21/25. This is unweighted & 28% for the Conservatives in the fall was likely too low. Still, check out the remarkable movement to the Liberals.

The problem w this approach is that to get to the hard stuff, one has to spend a lot of time doing the stuff that a computer is very good at. AI in education allows you complete work without mastery, leaving you without the foundations for the hard stuff

Imagining the Society Hill zoning meeting for a jazz club in somebody’s home šŸ˜‚ Why does Fishtown get so many of the nice things? As a place to start, most neighbors here tend to *support* cool things when they get proposed

Disengaged voters (defined in various ways, but basically – folks who don’t vote regularly and pay less attention to politics) drove most of the movement away from Democrats from 2020 to 2024 – this is a trend that’s been ongoing since 2012.
