Of course Israel attacked Iran. Who was going to stop them? If the world hasn’t stopped Israel from committing genocide; from bombing Lebanon, Syria, Lebanon and assassinating people (including the negotiators) why wouldn’t Israel attack Iran? This is the logic of impunity.

This is not a concession - these proposals were in the Green Paper. I hope colleagues will see that £7 billion in cuts will make disabled people poorer. No amount of warm words mask the reality - cuts don’t create jobs they create austerity. I’m voting NO.

After fifty years of neoliberalism, smaller British cities have some of the worst life prospects in Western Europe. Does a case study of one of them offer any clues about how to challenge uneven development and reverse postindustrial decline? tribunemag.co.uk/2025/06/whatev…

The Times publish a column co-authored by a war criminal with an International Criminal Court arrest warrant. This should spark an organised boycott of the paper.

Delighted that my book Oil, Nationalism and British Policy in Iran will be released in paperback next month: bloomsbury.com/uk/oil-nationa… At a time when Anglo-Iranian relations are under intense scrutiny I hope that it sheds light on the two nations' extremely chequered past

The government’s move to ban Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act is due to their effectiveness in disrupting genocide — and erodes the basis for dissent that all democratic societies need. An attack on Palestine Action is an attack on you. tribunemag.co.uk/2025/06/an-att…

The Met has a unit meant to target perpetrators of genocide, war crimes, torture, and crimes against humanity. Not only does the Met let all such child-killing ‘British-Israeli’ criminals roam freely on London’s streets, they effectively take orders from their co-conspirators.

Disgraceful for Mark Rowley to claim that he ‘will always defend’ the right to protest while doing the exact opposite and after 20 months of imposing unprecedented restrictions on peaceful protests against Israel’s genocide in Gaza. 1/7

Proscribing Palestine Action as ‘terrorists’ while continuing to send arms to a state that is committing the gravest of crimes against humanity in Gaza is not just unjustifiable, it is chilling. The ongoing crackdown on the right to protest is a threat to us all.

This is a proper nightmare for PM. He’s pressing on, insisting reform if necessary. If they back down, there is the hard numbers - govt needs saving - and the political weakness. So now it’s the whipping op to drive down the numbers, but they are going UP

They genuinely don't realise what seeing kids being blown into pieces every day for 2 years—and their government arming and supporting it all—has done to people

“I find it bizarre that we’re talking about the Israeli military like it’s a persecuted minority group. It’s a powerful army committing genocide.” I spoke to Nick Ferrari about the absurd attempt to charge Bob Vylan with ‘hate speech’.

For many people who risked their lives to defeat Nazism, aiding the post-war movements against a dying but vicious colonialism was the next step in the fight to realise their anti-fascist ideals. tribunemag.co.uk/2025/06/partis…
