What a wonderful experience! Huge thanks to Società Italiana di Etologia for organising this exciting event, and to the co-authors of the awarded paper Massimo De Agrò and Lucia Regolin 🐣🔍🧠

Unbelievable shortsightedness by Cambridge in closing Nicola Clayton corvid lab after 22 years. A world class facility for rooks & jays now to be lost b/c of minor funding issues. So much of what we now know about avian minds has come from her lab. I’m very angry… x.com/newscientist/s…

This is very sad news, I had the privilege to spend part of my PhD in this lab and I will ever be grateful for everything I learned and for the wonderful team I met. Nicola Clayton corvid lab is a milestone in the study of cognition, what a shame!

Check out New Scientist on Nicola Clayton corvid lab. I can't believe this is happening for real ☹️

Save the date for Nicola Clayton seminar at QMUL! Looking forward to it 🐦🧠🪄
