Had the immense pleasure of visiting the National Gallery #VincentVanGogh exhibition. Blown away by so many superb examples of his work in one place. Seeing his use of colour and brushwork so close up was a treat beyond measure.

Delighted to have been part of the team that put this application together. Digitising this collection will make it accessible to a global readership. These documents reveal the role of imperial families in the daily workings of Atlantic slavery.

So disheartening to read about failing financial support for culture in Wales, especially when culture is one of the four critical areas identified in the Welsh Government's Well-being of Future Generations Act: theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Attended this fantastic session by GEM Cymru this afternoon. Excellent presentations on projects taking place at museums across Wales. Really showed the value of putting funding and talented people who are passionate about their work together eventbrite.com/x/c4w-what-has…

Was the relationship between the indigenous people and Welsh settlers in Y Wladfa really one of friendship and felicity, as we assume? Join Paul O’Leary and Lucy Taylor as they discuss several themes that challenge the romantic view of Y Wladfa. 📎 library.wales/events

Will be speaking at this event on the Jamaica plantation maps of the Pennant family of Penrhyn Castle. Very much looking forward to a very interesting day, full of new perspectives on the power of maps.
