Have spoken at two Protect Bronglais Services events yesterday in Penrhyncoch/tonight in Waunfawr. Our excellent campaign is gaining momentum as more signatures are gained for our petition against the Health Board’s plans to reduce our Stroke Unit in Aber to “treat and transfer.”

Protect Bronglais Services need 10,000 signatures to ensure that the Senedd debates the future of stroke services at Bronglais Hospital. We need that debate. Scrap the idea of our rehabilitation services being delivered in Withybush or Llanelli. In short, let’s protect Bronglais.

Recommend our Farmers Market in Star of the Sea in Borth. My first visit as usually teaching, but I’ll be back. Great local products from local producers on our doorstep. Lovely atmosphere, and very much contributing to the localism and community agenda. Do visit.Thursday 10-1pm.

Never fail to be inspired by Borth Community Hub after a morning and lunchtime of volunteering. This exemplar project serving the needs of Borth and a much wider rural area should be a model more widely delivered.

Lovely atmosphere down at the Star of the Sea in Borth tonight raising money at the Carnival Auction for Carnival and therefore supporting local worthy causes. Lots of generosity in evidence and spearheaded by our great auctioneer for the night Dylan Raw Rees.

It hasn’t been the sunniest of days here in Borth, but this has not dampened the mood at the Borth Community Hub’s Teddy Bear’s Picnic in aid of Borth Carnival. Good crowd/ lovely atmosphere. Thanks to all those who supported.

Great to be out and about in North Ceredigion with Sandra Jervis, our lead Lib Dem candidate for the Senedd elections next year. Before we left Borth a friendly encounter with a Carnival Clown who also happens to be a Lib Dem County Councillor! Diolch Gareth!

Borth Carnival is special, very special. Proud once again to be asked to help present the prizes once again. Borth at its very best. A great community which the Williams family are very proud to call our home.

Good to see HAHAV on the showfield at the Cardigan Show today. I had the privilege of serving as a Trustee for seven years and have seen first hand the excellent work undertaken at Plas Antaron and more widely across our communities.

Popped down to the stunning Ynyslas today with friends, and my first visit to the Ynyslas Nature Hub,the former visitor centre, now run by the volunteers and staff of the Borth Community Hub. An excellent initiative, enhancing a valued asset for our community.
