Come see Dr Marina Seady present the effect of conditional deletion of MHC class I molecules on neurotropic virus specific CD8 T cell responses at the morning session (poster C81) Marina Seady #SfN24

And thatās a wrap for the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Conference in Chicago this week! Our projects included neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation, skull bone marrow immunology, and antigen presentation by vasculature and microglia. Marina Seady asmahassaniš¦ š§ Mark Maynes

Completed my rotation in the Aaron Johnson lab in an extremely fun way! What an amazing group of people!š¤©

Happy to share my thesis work as preprint in bioRxiv Immunology ! We found an interesting role of PD-1 in regulating the effector cytotoxic and exhaustion potential of thymic mature CD8+ T cells, which impacts the maintenance of peripheral tumor immunity. biorxiv.org/content/10.110ā¦

The Johnson Lab kicked off our week at the American Association of Immunologists (AAI) meeting in Honolulu with outstanding oral presentations by Dr Kathryn Wininger and graduate student Mark Maynes. Mark Maynes #IMMUNOLOGY2025

Come see Dr Marina Seady present her project on the role of MHC Class I molecules on CD8 T cell proliferation during neurotropic virus infection! Marina Seady #IMMUNOLOGY2025

Sharing Dr Marina Seadyās comprehensive review published in Trends in Neuroscience regarding CD8 T cell mediated blood-brain barrier disruption. Great job Marina! Marina Seady lnkd.in/gPZsTA4j

Drawing attention to our senior immunology student Mark Maynes who published his MRI and spectral flow cytometry methods to measure neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration in dementia models. Nice job Mark! Mark Maynes sciencedirect.com/science/articlā¦
