Great morning spent with Dr Kristy Hobson NSWDPI and CBA chickpea breeder at the Wittenoom Hills breeding site. Kristy spotted fantastic pod setting in some of the lines. Not bad for July sowing. Avoid all the cold and doing their business in the warmer months!

Pulse Week - with chickpea and lentil prices in recent months being over $800/t and field pea and faba bean over $600/t it is a good time to consider if pulses have a fit on your WA farm.
