Very pleased to find that Seren of the Wildwood (Wiseblood Books, 2023) is still getting new reviews two years out! Thanks to longtime NCLR editor Margaret Bauer for review assignment. #poetry #form #longpoem issuu.com/eastcarolina/d…

Many thanks to Christal Cooper for being curious and arranging this interview about "Landscape with Icefall." The poem originally appeared at Autumn Sky Poetry Daily (ed. Christine Klocek-Lim) some years ago--reprinted this year on New Year's Day. christalcooper.com/439-backstory-…

Perspective for poets... Seven of John Donne's poems were printed in his lifetime. The remaining 187 appear to have been circulated among his rather rarefied circle of readers, with some meant for specific recipients. 🩶

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

Maybe it's just this year's absurd amount of travel and time away, but I've lost the thread that connects me here. Shall I stay, shall I stray, etcetera-y. Still, glad to be home for a while.

Yesterday I undertook a journey of exploration, a first visit. By train to Needham Market in Suffolk and then on foot cross country for a couple of miles or so. My destination was special, a time capsule of past emotion and devotion, St Mary's Church, Badley. Thread.
