When I went to St Pancras Rehab Hospital, I couldn't stand up and I couldn't walk at all. The physiotherapists and occupational therapists told me that they would get me walking in 3 weeks. I didn't believe them. They were right. I was wrong. The taught me how to walk again.

I said to one OT at the rehab that I didn't think I would be able to do a show to 100s of children in a theatre again. She said I would. This year, I did a show to 100s at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. A woman with her kids asked me to sign a book. It's me, she said. It was the OT.

A system in which we make dinner ladies tell kids in front of their peers their parents can’t afford them is a sign we are failing them and ourselves. never been more important time to expand universal free school meals and ensure no child hungry or shamed as government policy.
