Day 7 (Saturday) of our final Walking the Wainwrights week - the Western Fells. Today’s walk took us up Kirk Fell via Gavel Neese & Beck Head. Tomorrow 6 people will complete all 214 Wainwrights with a hike up Lingmell & Scafell Pike.

Misty & cloudy early start to visit Lewis ystday, including the 3 spectacular Callanish stone cicles, the well preserved Dun Carloway Broch, the lovely black house village of Gearrannon & then a scenic walk to the dramatic Mangersta sea stacks. A long, interesting day. RFJ💙 🇺🇦
