The PRO-ACT survey will soon be closing - it's for men, or partners of men, who have been treated on the island of Ireland for prostate cancer. It focuces on sexual well being and mental health. It's really, really important.

As we get closer to the start date, today our Lung Health Check nurses were spending time in Jarushka Naidoo's clinic in Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre. Great to have them on site and meeting the team. #LungHealthCheck

From what I have heard so far, I think the current minister for health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD Department of Health is likely to understand and deal with the major issues in public cancer care delivery. Time will tell, I am optimistic.

Never liked the "Fight" terminology often used around cancer patients. Cancer cares not about attitudes, it only succumbs to good treatments. The real fight is ensuring every patient has timely access to those treatments without a fight they don't have the time & energy for.

How do men really feel during prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment? IPCOR is one of the few registries in the world capturing PROMs at multiple time points to assess real-world quality of life. By listening to men’s experiences, we hope to enable more patient-centred care.

A further insight into the apparent attempt by NCPE’s Michael Barry to question the integrity of hundreds of our best clinicians. Who paid Professor Barry to cut and paste names and numbers from a public website and call it a “fascinating” and “important” review???
