Heartening to read Wes Streeting acknowledging the suffering of mothers who have experienced severe birth injuries in this article. Streeting is surely right that this is āthe conversation we needā. A conversation that must lead to answers, change and accountability š½

Someone who expressed a wish for no forceps antenatally should have been counselled about caesarean at full dilation & planned caesarean *during antenatal care*. But normal birth policies preferred keeping women in ignorance & push for vaginal delivery. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1ā¦
