To read this you’d be forgiven for buying that the Trustees inherited some sort of poisoned chalice. No squeak of how 7DP burned through half a million quid’s worth of funds including £360k from the Cultural Recovery Fund?!? How about utter incompetence & delusional “leadership”?

We tried to collaborate with Seven Dials Playhouse for 3 yrs to return training & bring much needed money into the building. This would have provided vital provision for actors & help Tower st, bought by actors for actors, remain viable. The Charity Commission enquiry is very welcome

The "re-brand" cancelling the Actors Centre was planned over a long period, consultation with stakeholders was negligible, execution was brutal & appalling. None of that was down to COVID. The whole enterprise was woefully mis-conceived - possibly worse, looking at the accounts.
