Back in the Win column today as the bats were red hot on this cool rainy day & beat RBR 19-1….Izzy Weimer-3 hits & 5 RBI, Hayley Maresca with a 3 Run homer. Ryann gets the win with 4 inning 6k. So of course defense wins Harry as Serenity made back to back spectacular plays in CF

The bats stayed hot as the Huskies beat Neptune 16-1 ….. 2 hits each for Ryann, Izzy (Harry the Husky winner) and Emma (5 RBI’s). Freshman star Elyssa hit her second homer of the year. Emma got the win in the circle and Hayley pitched her first two innings at the Varsity level.

Tomorrow 4/22 is an exciting day for Matawan HS Softball.The field will be renamed in honor of a legend, Faye Irons ! Faye started the HS softball program in 1970 and was head coach for 36 years !!! She not only was a proponent for Softball but for all women’s rights and equality

Crazy win today 15-10 over Ocean to improve to 6-2…Multiple hit and RBI day for 3 different players. 4 innings of relief by Ryann Healey giving up just 1 earned run with 7 strikeouts. Ally Daly the winner of Harry !

Great day Saturday for the Huskies, with a dramatic 6-5 come from behind victory vs. Marlboro scoring 2 in the 6th & 2 in the 7th. Secured the victory with amazing game ending double play by Elyssa. Home runs for Ryann & Maddie. Complete game, 2 earned runs for Emma in the circle

Lost a tough one today to Manasquan 11-7 as our record dropped to 9-4. The bats stayed hot as Izzy & Emma had 2 hits and Serenity stayed hot with 3 hits ! Cam wins Harry as she made all the plays in RF and added a hit and RBI. We look to rebound on senior night Friday vs TR South

Exciting win in the 1st round of SCT 10-3 vs PP Beach. The Huskies improved to 12-5. The day was extra special as senior Ryann Healey collected her 200th career K. She also had 2 hits and 3 RBI’s. Emma’s added 3 hits and Izzy 3 RBI’s. On to the 2nd round vs Midd North on Saturday

Couldn’t be more proud of the Matawan Huskies after a tough 1-0 loss to #18 Middletown North 1-0 in 8 innings. Complete team effort to battle one of the top teams in the shore conference to extra innings - Defense and pitching lead the way !

Huge win for the Matawan Huskies 3-0 over Manasquan to improve to 13-6. Emma was excellent in the circle pitching a complete game victory with 10 K’s. She also was 2 for 3 with a RBI at the plate. Maddie had 2 hits including a double. Great defense again for the Big Team W 🥎🥎
