I recently finished both McKenzie Wark’ Capital is Dead and Yanis Varoufakis’s Technofeudalism. I am not entirely unsympathetic to their aims, but I have some thoughts. Not unlike Mason’s Postcapitalism, there’s a weird fetsihization of information doing far too much work.
