Today was a long day😞

Before coming to Rockdale County, I taught in my hometown, Thomson GA. Things were great & specialist would come in and observe my class. John O’Connor observed & gave a PL. He was so amazed he wanted to feature us in his upcoming book! Can’t wait to read it. Effective Co Teacher

Creating Ms Taylor’s special pizza using percentages. For example students had to use a double number line to show the number of slices needed for each topping. 30% of the pizza required green peppers and pepperoni. The pizza was cut into 10 slices @APBaldwinEMS I love EMS ❤️🤍💙

Students used counters and cups to solve one step equations. I even gave them some negatives because they made a connection to why we have zero pairs.  Students used counters in class with cups and braining camp and group discussion using the whiteboards.

Differentiation- hands on activity, teacher time,illustrative math,USA TEST prep, peer tutoring.Students hate fractions because some teachers hate teaching them but if you introduce fractions and expressed to the kids that you love them. trust me they will not be afraid

Amazing session today

I had some amazing participation from the GL Edwards MS teachers. I facilitated sessions for PBIS on knowing the differences between if the incident should be considered an office referral or a teacher managed referral. I wanted the teachers to make a soul train and DANCE😂
