I just can’t fathom most teams with two stars that are not on their rookie deal wanting to trade for Durant. Have we not learned anything from Durant’s current team? The three star model no longer works!

OKC gets a lot of steals because they have good hands, yes. But it's also because their guys are so good at locating the ball when they go rogue and try to create a turnover.

Kudos to Hartenstein for handling his benching so well. He's been so good in this game. Young guys, take note. That is what you call buying in and sacrificing for the greater good.

Haliburton is now 6-for-7 on go-ahead shots with two minutes left in regulation/overtime. The best clutch player in basketball right now.

To figure out the Thunder’s defense, the Pacers had to go against everything they believe in. Wrote about itā¬‡ļø

Can’t stop thinking about how the Pacers could change their offensive identity so drastically in just one half. Going from their usual movement-heavy/speed-based ball to a more methodical and self-creation centric brand. Such a cool team.

I hand tracked it because I was curious: After Hali and Nembhard were both brought in for the last time in the 4th, the pacers brought the ball up half court 19 times — 11 of those times were by Nembhard, compared to only six by Hali.

My guess is that Daigneault wanted more ball handling out there with Jdub in the non-Shai minutes against the Pacers’ fullcourt pressure. With that said, I think he big brained it and should have just trusted Cason to handle it.

In continuing with my mini-series for Forbes SportsMoney on sneaky names to watch in free agency, I wrote about Landry Shamet -- a career sharpshooting journeymen whose recent development as a defender has made him a playoff-caliber rotation piece: forbes.com/sites/matissa/…

I don’t see why he would leave at this point. With some decent moves around the margins, the Bucks could be a top 5/6 seed in the East again next year. There’s no guarantee he gets that out West, no matter who trades for him (minus OKC)
