Reading papers today and was struck by this gem from Sydney Brenner (Sequences and Consequences, Phil. Trans. R. Soc. B 2010). 10 years on, I don't think we're close to having it down yet. We've at least sent RNA, proteins, metabolites and others up to keep it company though.

This was my draft for the conclusion: Kinesin potentially has the ability to bind 10-100 times faster than previous estimates. This is exciting because it gives a very different picture for how cargos may bind to microtubules in the cell. It is also deeply confusing.
