Should we schedule a rest day on MD+2 in football? Recent work from ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ʙᴜᴄʜʜᴇɪᴛ and colleagues found 2 to 3 times lower overall non-contact injury rates when a rest day (whether off completely or easy recovery session off legs) was scheduled at MD+2. Study PMID: 36596310
