After a long day yday (all very productive & proactive), I went home & made pancakes. Lochlan decorated his & chose to eat it like his siblings - problem is, they are beagles🐶🐶! I'm so grateful for everything I have. In 2018, I nearly ended my own life. I'm so glad I didn't.

I'm pleased to do our bit for the Social Enterprise sector by completing the 'State of Social Enterprise Survey' for Social Enterprise UK We complete this every so often and it helps to demonstrate the strength of the sector. It's great to see our progress outlined on paper.

I'm clearing out some old stuff. I've just found letters from my Manager at Greater Manchester Mental Health from 2018. I was off following my Mum's death. "What do you want", "loss is one of them things", "We need you back in asap". Shortly after, I attempted suicide. I'm OK now, but what a shit show.

We're finalising a tender submission today which, if successful, will mean that we extend our relationship with a top org. with 600 staff & approx. £100 million turnover. Why does this matter? Because we understand the value of social entrepreneurship in ensuring sustainability.

March and April are the two longest months of the year when you're in business, even when times are good, which they are. I'm extremely grateful for everything we have. No matter how tough a day it is, I can come home and take this guy the park. I love being a Dad.

Work is taking it out of me lately. It's hard running a business. It's hard to feel vulnerable, especially when it feels as though the vultures are circling. But, I'm at home and listening to my Son and my better half read bedtime stories. Work is just Work. I feel stronger now!

We definitely won't stop. We do it OUR way. Love this ❤️
