BOR says it’s done counting for the night and this race is over. Trayon White is celebrating with supporters out on MLK Ave in Congress Heights.

It's unlikely that any of the challengers will close the gap over the next 10 days that mail ballots can be counted. The election will be certified Aug. 8, and if White is declared the winner, he can be sworn in pretty much right after that.
