Enter for OSU Cowboy Baseball, freshman lefty Ethan Lund. Easy gas from the left side, Lund has struck 4 of the 7 he's faced. Most of swing/miss from his 94 96 FB w/ good carry thru the zone. Gets around a 87 88 SL. Flashed low 80s CB that looks to have at least avg potential.

Opening weekend in the books. Went across town to see Duke Baseball and Cincinnati Baseball face off. After this weekend Kerrington Cross might be my favorite player in college baseball to watch. Electric stuff all weekend. Week 2 🔜

We’ve had a quiet offseason on social media, but that was for the better. Alex Barr senior campaign is going to be one for the books. Operation 100mph has been well underway, and almost available to the public. #MLBDraft

RHP Parker Rhodes flashing big, big stuff. Grabbed 96.5 from 59” launch. Snagged an 18/7. Flat approach. Blowing hitters up elevated. Sweeper 82-83 @ -1/-16. Flashed a -4/-17 @ 82.6. Threw one CH at 89 with diving action. Really nasty look. Arm speed is real.

Want to add a little context from post outing discussion we had. I had asked why he didn’t show SL or CH (1 pitch). His response: “Saw hitters getting eager, shifting a lot of weight on front side.” Whoever gets this kid isn’t only drafting a talented arm, but a PITCHER.
