Great day out today thanks to the ATE BTE Committee. A special thank you to UCC Plus and MTU Access for organising brilliant workshops and talks. Our students got a great insight into STEM and what opportunities are available to them post leaving certificate!

Today we welcomed Nuala O’Brien, Ambassador of Ireland to Egypt to our school. Ambassador O’Brien is a past-pupil of MCS and she gave a wonderful insight into her role in the Embassy of Ireland and the Dept. of Foreign Affairs. Thank you Ambassador for your inspiring words.

Yesterday our TY students ran a creative workshop with the 5th class students from St. Patrick’s BNS 🎨 there was some excellent work produced and the students really enjoyed it! Well done to all involved 👏🏼

Last night we held our annual Gradam Awards Night! This is the highlight of our academic year - a huge well done to all of our winners and nominees 🏆 A very special thank you to our guest of honour and past-pupil, Aidan Murphy from Stryker Ireland. More photos to follow.

For the first time in 15 years… the students take the win in our annual staff v students soccer game. The streak is over, the bragging rights are theirs, and the staff are already planning next year’s comeback. ⚽🔥

Yesterday, we celebrated our Class of 2025 at their graduation ceremony! A morning of music, prayer, memories & heartfelt best wishes. Wishing them every success in their journey ahead ⭐️

Last Thursday afternoon, students in Year 3 were presented with their JCSP portfolios. The portfolios outline the students' achievements over the last three years. Afterwards, students were treated to a delicious ice cream shared outside in the sunshine ☀️
