To our Coalmine residents and folks between Natalia and Lytle who have lost their power, our senior center at 19031 Priest Drive is open. Note, this is a cooling center not a shelter, so no meals are available. AEP Energy is estimating it will be down for a few hours.

Team Lytle, especially those living along Hwy 132 heading to Natalia, WTG will be replacing one of their gas lines over the next two weeks. Company should have provided their subcontractor’s contact info last week if you need their assistance.

Team Lytle and surrounding communities, vehicle accident under the overpass of I-35 and FM 2790. Avoid the area, use Main Street to get on northbound I-35 and use I-35 and Loop 1604 if traveling to Somerset.

Team Lytle and surrounding communities, TXDOT is doing some work on FM 3175 by the Shell Gas station and TXN Bank. Give yourself extra time through that area.

UPDATE: TXDOT is resurfacing the road, so expect delays for the next three weeks. Monday - Thursday. Starting around 8:30am and lasting till 4:30pm. Team Lytle and surrounding communities, TXDOT is doing some work on FM 3175 by the Shell Gas station and TXN Bank.

Team Lytle and surrounding communities, on three Sunday’s in the morning till noon, (28 Sept, 5 Oct, & 12 Oct) there will be intermittent closures of I-35. (15 min each) There is going to be some utility work being done across I-35 (Lucky Road area) and will require shut down.

Team Lytle, our Bill Miller’s is having some electrical problems with a transformer. So give yourself extra time if having lunch there today. (Wednesday, 1 Oct) They probably be only taking cash until 1pm as they switch the transformer. Should be back to normal after that.

Team Lytle, we will do a special test on our Sirens this Tuesday, 7 Oct, at noon. Our police department has received new radios and will need to be tested to make sure they activate the sirens.
