A slight correction to this post. Levy raised Ā£259m more in FY24/25 (Ā£4,100m) than FY23/24 (Ā£3,841m). DfE budget in 24/25 is Ā£2,729m some Ā£220m more than spend on 23/24 of Ā£2,509m. So extra expected levy Ā£259m more than covered HMT’s extra funding to DfE of Ā£220m
