Impossible to listen to @bbcr4today promoting the lie that we are throwing more money at the NHS and getting less. The NHS has had 14 years of below-inflation rises - that is, real-term cuts. Also, money is wasted going to the profits of private firms rather than to patients.

Lots of people wondering why physician associates &other non-doctors being introduced in huge numbers to the NHS. It’s because politicians are destroying the NHS, deskilling the workforce & creating a 2nd rate service which people only use if they can’t afford private care.

I remember the look of sadness in my mums eyes when, as a child, she told me she couldn’t afford to buy me a coat. We have never had a Prime Minister so out of touch
