Here are Jordon Hudson's trademark applications. All are wordmarks. Several required Belichick's consent. All were filed as "intent to use," or "ITU's," meaning there are no goods or services currently being sold under any. All are truly terrible marks that have a long way to go

It's not like people didn't try to raise concerns with Carolina about Belichick and the girlfriend. These emails were sent to the entire UNC Board of Trustees before Carolina hired Belichick with Ms. Hudson in tow (or maybe it's the other way around).

This morning’s Athletic article is a UNC nightmare: a high-profile media deal derailed by a 24-year-old with no official role, no registered company, and no leash from UNC—who somehow managed to kill a “Hard Knocks” docuseries before a single camera rolled. The result is a

Credulity strained. Simon & Schuster is a major publishing house w deep legal resources. If Belichick (or Jordon) truly wanted “book-only” interview restrictions, S&S’s legal team would have negotiated that in writing—or warned that without it, there were no enforceable limits.

I agree— especially given Belichick’s statement today. Let’s see the tape. Belichick and Ms. Hudson put the entire interview in issue. Probably should have handled this a different way.

Classic Luke DeCock. “This was always going to be a beautiful disaster, like a monkey trying to fly a 737, but Belichick’s tenure is already a rank embarrassment, for him and for North Carolina — and he hasn’t even lost a game yet.” newsobserver.com/sports/spt-col…

Great article from today's WSJ re Buffett and leadership, and, sorry UNC, it's making me think of the Heels' decision to hire Belichick w Hudson in tow. My two favs: “Do you ever talk about what could go wrong?” & "Pick the right leaders—not only for their ability, but for their

I need to see the ACC-Clemson deal. No question, this is good for Clemson. But ND better get a sovereign immunity waiver in writing, & then also a jurisdiction & venue clause that any dispute w the Tigers be resolved in Indiana. This is a massive win for Clemson— one not based on
