I think this varies hugely by discipline, institution and country and so can make it very difficult for MCRs to navigate #MCResChat

Q3 is: what are the main challenges you feel you face as a mid-career researcher? #MCResCHat

To my mind, MidCareer is Senior Lecturers, Senior Research Fellows, perhaps also new Profs #mcreschat

Q4: what support, advice, and guidance do you think you need mid-career? What areas of development are important? #MCResChat
