Tomorrow (Feb 17) is our second Annapolis Advocacy Day with the Maryland Just Power Alliance (ACT, AIM, and PATH)! We will meet with our legislators on our priorities for climate, housing, pre-K, and immigrants' rights. We're looking forward to making our voices heard!

Yesterday, over 100 of us met with our state legislators in Annapolis again! We asked them to support our priorities: 🏘️The Housing for Jobs Act, 🗝️Good Cause Eviction, 🛡️Immigrant protections, 📚Pre-K expansion, and 🔄The ReNEW Act. We also co-hosted this event with IPL (DC.MD.NoVA).

🔑We support Good Cause Eviction (HB709, SB651) in the Maryland General Assembly! Good Cause would require landlords to have a good reason to evict tenants at the end of their lease. Learn more here: ggwash.org/view/98385/its…
