Patient with #PancreaticCancer obstructing the bile ducts with failed #endoscopy stent placement. Interventional radiology (#IRad) is able to access the ducts using ultrasound & xray guidance, cross the obstruction with wires, and then place stents to relieve the obstruction.

Sheesh. My youngest threw multiple large rocks in an outdoor drainage pipe. Had to get out an endoscope, homemade snare fashioned out of PVC pipe and wire looped on itself, shopvac, and a balloon to eventually get it all out.

Recalcitrant hepaticojejunostomy stricture treated with laser stricturotomy followed by steroid injection directly into stricture (stripped outer coating off a 25 gauge EUS needle). Needle easily passes thru Spyglass for direct visualization of steroid inj after stricture tx!
