Experience of my female friend travelling on 6E 193 to Hyderabad - the flight was delayed owing to a check- in belt machine fault at Chennai airport. The IndiGo staff were rude, unprofessional and disrespectful to her and scores of other passengers.

Their luggage wasn’t checked in & were made to run from counter to counter only to be verbally harassed and were given no solution. This caused them to miss their flight and they were redirected to purchase a new ticket for the next flight, which was 3x more expensive.

Is this a new tactic by IndiGo to boost sales? The ground staff even sarcastically asked the passengers to leave their bags and take the flight if they wanted. Didn’t expect such behaviour from what I had considered India’s best airline! Meenakshi Narayanaswamy DGCA Jyotiraditya M. Scindia
