One of the easiest ways to improve the quality of your life is to spend time around people who're constantly working on becoming better versions of themselves. ✨️

A humbling, poignant reminder of humanness lies in accepting that our understanding of people and situations often turns out to be deeply flawed. 🌻 And yet, these human experiences are key to learning how to hone our instincts and evolve our sense of judgment. 🤌

The Ultrahuman ring seemed to have potential but I've discovered they just stop working after a point. The only thing customer care will do is ship you a replacement that lasts a short while before it dies. Disappointing. Guess I'm back to relying on trusty old Garmin. 🤷‍♀️

Never thought I'd use AI to analyse my workout performance, but here we are. Geeking out over how detailed this analysis is. 🤯

Only takes a couple of days away from the city to realise how much calm and healing simply comes from being close to nature. 🥺🫶🏾

A wholesome end-of-year read, and one that can either make you feel validated or slightly uncomfortable about your choices. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Thankfully, it was mostly the former for me. 🙂

Since April 2024, I put in an hour of recreational swimming every day for 6 days a week. 🏊🏽‍♀️ With a little help from Perplexity and Garmin, I analysed my swim volume for the year, and the result is surprising. It’s amazing what some consistency and rigor can lead to. 🤌🏾✨

"Sometimes magic is just someone spending more time on something than anyone else might reasonably expect." ✨ Best thought I've read today, a good one to start the year with: allenpike.com/2024/an-unreas…

Hard things made easy by hard work over time are the things to focus on. That process captures the healthy dynamics of dopamine circuits & displaces your time & attention from the no/low effort-reward traps that exist everywhere. We still need rest but the formula never fails.
