We’ve just finished writing the missing 15,616 Wikipedia articles to get complete coverage of all 19,255 human genes. We used PaperQA2, which has higher accuracy than existing human-written Wikipedia articles, as judged by blinded biology PhD students and postdocs. 1/5

My lab is funded exclusively by taxpayer's money. Zero product is made that is sold for profit. Particularly this time of the year when it gets cold, I think about unhoused individuals and how many people can be fed with what I expend for research. Not a minute should be wasted.

Check out one of the very first quantitative studies on science graduate student mental health. Teaching seems to help mental health. Maybe we need to re-think research fellowships that don't involve teaching. Share with your colleagues!
