I'm so grateful for this amazing group of colleagues and friends! One big piece of advice I'd offer to anyone starting grad school is to find community. Thanks Sydney L Forde for making us take a group photo (in the rain) to celebrate the end of the year!

#AEJMC24 was great! I really enjoyed presenting a mini teaching demo through Graduate Education Commission (AEJMC)'s inaugural graduate teaching showcase! I'm walking away with 3+ pages of classroom ideas I want to try now! I highly recommend other students submit & attend the teaching showcase next year!

Very excited for my dissertation project exploring digital messaging strategies around Lyme disease, a vector borne illness! And a friendly reminder to check for ticks after spending time outside!
