Many people seem to assume that the best response to subsidies is countervailing duties. But with CVDs, the subsidies remain and tariffs are added to the mix, limiting competition in the sector. Maybe it's worth trying WTO adverse effects cases instead: ielp.worldtradelaw.net/2024/02/wto-ad…
