We just got a CIHR Project Grant to conduct a RCT to study if exercise can prevent cognitive decline and reduce dementia risk early post-stroke. The two postdocs of the memorylab Kevin Moncion, PT PhD and Lynden Rodrigues will lead this ambitious project.

Postdoc Lynden Rodrigues attended the 2025 CANTRAIN Clinical Trials Training Summit in Vancouver as an awardee of StrokeCog Study fellowship. Lynden presented his poster for our upcoming Roger-funded trial, which was awarded 3rd best presentation!

Congrats to Anke Van Roy for obtaining a highly competitive 2 year postdoctoral fellowship by Parkinson Canada. Starting June 1st, Anke will be in the memorylab continuing the CIHR funded RCT led by Jacopo that investigates the effects of exercise on sleep in PD.
