It’s been an exciting 6 months settling into BBC Children in Need joining their leadership team as a Co-Director with Mercy Shibemba on ‘We Move’, a brand new 10 million pound commitment over 10 years to create and invest in opportunities for Black children and young people.

This week during Black History Month, we took young people to Downing Street to share their youth social action projects. So far awarded over £2.2 million to 66projects working with Black children & young people across UK, majority blackled organisations & new to BBC CIN funding

Now our job to help grow commitment, attracting new partners, brands, income, developing programme opportunities & creating a strategy that ultimately tackles racial inequity, social justice issues & barriers faced by black children & young people. Get in touch if you can help
