2/n <40yrs screen every 3 years When diagnosis confirmed also check for orthostatic hypertension Start tx early and go dual agents if BP>130/90 Single agent if BP 120-130 but still treat it- observing at >120 not good (allowing 3/12 for lifestyle changes)

7/n because failing to treat early and well can have lots or complifations Check pts annually and ensure targets are met- it is crucial!
