Hurricane #Erick has made landfall in the state of Oaxaca in Mexico at Category 3 with sustained winds near 125 mph. Whilst eastern Pacific hurricanes of this strength in June are not unprecedented, Erick is the strongest on record to make landfall on the coast of Mexico in June.
