We’ve all had such a wonderful two weeks rehearsing and performing Suor Angelica with Opera Bohemia - an emotional rollercoaster of an opera with the BEST girls and team. Soul enriching.

Visited the wonderful Airlie House Care Home in Ayr last week and, despite being sad a friend and resident had passed away that weekend, we again saw the magic music can do. Isn’t it incredible how people who hardly know each other can comfort one another through music.

What are we becoming in the UK. The #WelfareBill is going to penalise the poor. Again. How cruel and heartless to take money off of people who are unwell yet have the misfortune of being on UC - people who qualify for UC because they are poor. Depressing and tragic.

Wonderful news and not at all surprised that Airlie House impressed the care inspectorate. It’s a wonderful care home.
