Excited to share our work evaluating a novel echo parameter to prognosticate critically ill PE. Only possible due to great mentorship and support of Dr. Scott Cameron (Scott Cameron 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸🫀🩺📟🔬🧫🧬🥋) and a great team Essa Hariri, MD MS, @AdiSCVM and Jean-Pierre. ahajournals.org/doi/full/10.11… @TallRoundsTM

Which thrombophilias are associated with ARTERIAL thrombosis? Dr May provides an outline for which are relevant and which are not. She notes APS is probably the most relevant for arterial thrombosis. #ACForum23

Check out our paper Atlanta Journal-Constitution highlighting Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Peripheral Vascular Disease. Conclusion 📃🖊️➡️ Black and Hispanic patients were less likely to undergo limb-salvaging procedures and more likely to undergo amputation than White patients.
