Since publishing our a16z benchmarks on AI-native growth, we've gotten a lot of Qs on what a Series A looks like in 2025. If you grow $0 -> $5M in ARR in a year, how much do you raise? Can you raise growing slower? IMO, Series A is now a barbell 👇

In this new era of social marketing, it's very important to learn how to talk about your competitor without talking about your competitor. That way you can show off how you're better and different without being tacky.

I hope Sydney Sweeney either got paid with shares of American Eagle or bought American Eagle before the ad went live. I hope she has a lot of faith in herself

I have a dad first-world problem. I just bought a fantastic home theater, but because I have an 8-month-old kid, I can't use it that much, and then when he's out, my wife is working. So I have an incredible home theater system that is 9.1, which I can never use. So sad

Sadly, I have to agree with the folks that say that AI has lost its S-curve and is not improving that much anymore, and it's at the diminishing returns point. I hope we find something new that accelerates again to AGI

Scott Wessman I tried to add a custom instruction that says "always use deep thinking" in GPT-5, but that didn't work. What does work is creating a text expander that every time I write "!D" it will write "use deep thinking". And if I write that it will use it in every call

This is absolutely masterful influencer marketing. They give known influencers with a lot of followers access to a new model and they film a really high-quality video documentary-style with each of them. Each of them does what they typically do on Twitter, like Theo doing the

Being o3 back! I'm about to switch and try others. GPT5 thinks a lot less than o3 and doesn't do the nested searches as o3 did :(.

Is this proof that Sam Lambert is Average Database CEO? I always use Sam as a great founder example on Twitter for Dev Tools. Spicy, but still politically correct and faithful to his style.

For those of you that are paying Claude: Does it work like o3? Can it do one search, think, search again, think, search again or not? Because if the answer is yes, I'll stop paying for ChatGPT and move since I hate gpt5

Can somebody explain to me communities in 5 words? I'm not part of the Cursor community, but I still saw a message from yenkel on Cursor. So what's the difference? Does anybody really read just communities?
