Congratulations to the U13, U14 and U15 cricket teams on their outstanding performances today. The U13 and U14 teams secured victories over MEA Central in their respective Area Cup finals, while the U15 side claimed their title against Wright Robinson. #MGSCricket

This afternoon, our Lower School pupils gathered for their Prize Giving assembly. We were delighted to welcome David Preston (TS 05-15) as our guest speaker, who shared inspiring words on resilience and embracing new opportunities. #academicexcellence

Tomorrow, over 70 of our pupils will embark on a Music Tour to Paris. This evening, following a productive day of rehearsals, they presented a short concert, offering a preview of the programme they will perform whilst on tour. #schoolmusic

This morning, pupils and staff from Manchester Grammar Junior School gathered to celebrate sporting achievement, participation and success throughout the Summer Term and the academic year. A range of awards were presented, including the House Cup, the Weekly Mile, and for #sporting participation.

We are delighted to recognise recent successes of year 12 pupils. Well done to Hari Om, who was placed within the top 50 students in the country in the Isaac Physics Senior Physics Challenge. Well done also to Pranav M, Pranav P and Arnav who were awarded Gold in #TeenTechFinals.

We were delighted to welcome parents and friends of the MGS community this afternoon for the #JuniorSchool Prize Giving. The event included musical performances from the MGS Choir and year 6 pupils, adding a celebratory atmosphere to the occasion. Manchester Grammar Junior School

This evening, we were pleased to welcome our new year 7 pupils and their families to the school for the #Year7Welcome Evening, ahead of them joining us in September. Earlier in the day, pupils were introduced to the SEND Department and met Maggie, our much-loved SEND dog.

The Parents’ Society recently held their Summer Ball, an enjoyable occasion which brought together members of the school community in support of a very worthwhile cause. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who attended, contributed and supported the event. #parentssociety

Pupils and staff participating in the Music Tour to Paris have enjoyed a memorable itinerary. The group visited the historic Palace of Versailles, gave a number of performances in the Jardin du Luxembourg, and concluded the tour with a visit to Disneyland Paris. #schoolmusictour
