This week I've welcomed new PhD student Jordan Banks from Edge Hill University to start with myself & Abby, met PhD student Ming Jin discussing stats and progress towards presenting at ISPAH in Paris, & cheerleading Panagiotis Ferentinos on final post-viva edits! Good week had✅️

This year I've taken back #MED240profpractice to get 2nd year Lancaster University Sports & Exercise Science inspired, engaged & proactive towards ⬆️employability. Started off with quick fire careers speed dating with Isaac City Football Group Ben Ben Law Beau Team Nutrition Charlotte Morecambe FC & me!

Some good ol' chit chat with one of my faves, Dr Ian Entwistle , and taking advantage of his super radiography knowledge and experience to do so quality checks on current project DXA scans. Thanks 👍 I miss Team UK RugbyHealth project

Amazing effort by Sally Thompson - Taylor for #MED111. Becoming a sport and exercise scientist is one of the 1st modules our Lancaster University Sports & Exercise Science students do and a great chance to get students familiar with potential careers.

What a mark on cycling Sir Chris Hoy has made and as devastating as this news is, there will be no doubt he will ride out his final years like a champ 🏆 😢 BBC News - Cyclist Sir Chris Hoy announces his cancer is terminal bbc.com/news/articles/…

I’m not very good at live tweeting, but shout out to Jin Ming for her wonderful presentation at ISPAH showcasing her recent systematic review looking at the associations between occupational sedentary behaviour and mental health.
