radio this am: NHS will do more prevention. true prevention is reducing the commercial and social determinants of health jobs housing green spaces active transport affordable childcare +ok yes vaccinations but if looking to the NHS to do prevention you are not doing it right

the additional problem politicians -> GPs / NHS to sort 'prevention' lack evidence that GPs/NHS can do this (ok vaccinations) politicians absolved NHS/GPs blamed yet the policies that could have done true prevention at source didn't happen

Quite the disappointment for me has been the medical journal editors who have suppressed work in this area. The senior doctors who have libelled and name-called in the process are also culpable.

I'd suggest that it's evidence or bust, and judging from some of the citations propping up some of this data, it's the latter

"The relationship people desire is personal, not transactional" yet it's apps, remote/digital preferred, training people in small areas not large ones, and some kind of neighbourhood thing that seems to have GPs out on the edge?

a reflection. lots of talks recently. dozens of people say after 'totally agree but I am afraid to say so out loud'. And sorry, but this is part of the reason why rational critical evaluations of evidence are now described as 'provocative'. It should be normal.
