My first, first-authored paper is officially out 😄 We discuss the possibility that negative activation may lead to attention to news, but may also lead to inattention to news. I’m so excited about this and thankful to everyone who helped along the way! doi.org/10.1080/146167…

I just changed my bio, so I guess it’s official- I am a PhD candidate! Last week I successfully defended my prospectus and thanks to my amazing and supportive committee it was a helpful and encouraging experience. Now it’s time to write a dissertation!

my first solo-authored paper is out 🥳 in this paper, using a psychophysiological experiment in a free-choice environment, I investigate whether increased activation leads to attention or avoidance.
