On March 15, the HMS hosted the fifth grade ENL students from Hauppauge’s three elementary schools for “Meet in the Middle Day”. The purpose of this day was to allow fifth grade students to see sixth grade ENL students who have successfully transitioned to the Middle School!

Playing the “name game” with 3rd grade in P.E. Not only are these students quick with the ball and getting to know everyone’s name, but they are kind and supportive of each other. Forest Brook Rocks!!

Although there were a few raindrops, Forest Brook Elementary School students, teachers and staff honored 9/11 with the pledge at the flagpole and a moment of silence.

Thank you to Miss. Kessler and her K-3 class for letting me read to them this morning. We had a lot of laughs reading The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak.

So very grateful to the Hauppauge Fire Department for the assembly our students experienced about fire safety today! Everyone loved the fire engine, especially Mr. Caulin!! Thank you Hauppauge Fire Department!

Poet, children’s book author, and engaging speaker visited Forest Brook Elementary School today! Laugh-A-Lot Poetry and Darren Sardelli were so fun and simply amazing! Thank you to the Forest Brook PTA for making this special assembly available to all of our students!
